Betty Ardila is the founder of Massage Betty CE Academy and a Texas Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor (MTI), and TDLR-Approved Massage Therapy Continuing Education Provider.
She provides in-person, hands-on continuing education courses for massage therapists in the Houston and Katy area. Her small-group classes are designed to help therapists strengthen practical skills, build confidence, and expand their professional knowledge.
Originally from Colombia, Betty understands the importance of accessible education for Spanish-speaking massage therapists. She is committed to creating a welcoming learning environment where students can ask questions, practice techniques, and leave ready to use what they learned.
My Story
My journey into massage therapy began in Colombia more than two decades ago. After training and working in esthetics, I developed a strong foundation in client care, body treatments, and hands-on techniques.
In 2005, I moved to the United States and began my formal education in massage therapy. Learning in a new country came with challenges, including language barriers, transportation, and limited access to Spanish-language instruction. Those experiences shaped the way I teach today.
I understand that learning is easier when students feel welcome, supported, and comfortable asking questions. That is why I created Massage Betty CE Academy: to provide practical, in-person continuing education for massage therapists who want to grow their skills and confidence.
“I believe every therapist deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background or language. My mission is to empower others through practical training, cultural understanding, and professional growth.”
Massage therapy is a hands-on profession. Techniques such as assessing muscle tension, proper body mechanics, and therapeutic pressure are best learned through guided practice—not only by watching a screen.
My goal is simple: when you leave my class, you should feel prepared to apply what you learned with confidence.
